Dear Roletta, Barry, and Nichelle, Please accept my most heartfelt sympathies for your thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.

I just read of your loss of Gerry in the Augustana spring newsletter. That was where I met him, and the last time I saw him was when he was lifeguarding at a swimming pool in South Sioux City and I was going to Morningside summer school. I transfered to U. of Iowa and then flew off to become a flight attendant and then special education teacher. Sadly enough, our paths never again crossed; but reading all the letters, he sounded like the same kind, caring guy he was back at Augustana. With thoughts of peace and courage for you, Lynne Blinco Earle

Dear Barry and Family,

So sorry to hear of your loss!!! I was just sitting here reminiscing about all my fond memories of the times I spent with your family. In every memory, I can only picture your dad with a smile on his face. :)

I was SO SAD to read of Dr. Goettsch's passing in the Dispatch/Argus. My first job out of college was working for a couple years at the Physician's Exchange after-hours answering service. Of all the doctors that I'd have to speak with on nearly a nightly basis, Dr. Goettsch was always one of the friendliest and a call I would actually look forward to making. It was this disposition that made me choose him as a regular family doctor. I lost touch with him after Family Physicians Clinic closed, but I will forever have fond memories of his compassion, friendliness, and professionalism. My sympathies to the entire family.
